National 12 performing well

The new Dead Cat Bounce 4-planker has been performing extremely well and appears fully competitive. Owner Stuart Walsh kindly leant the boat to David Conlon and Sarah Bines for Burton Week, the class’s National Championships, at Brightlingsea Sailing Club. Despite having very little time in the boat prior to the event, they finished a very creditable 9th overall in a very competitive fleet, including a 6th and an 8th on the final day. This performance was even more impressive given the fact that they were using some pretty tired sails. They won the Arrows Trophy for best performance overall by a first-time helm.
